An analysis on factors associated with the satisfaction of health screening programs

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the use rate of health screening and t 0 identify factors associated with the users satisfaction of health screening programs. The study was also to develop health education interventions or services, e specially for people who are m need. The study examined: 1) the relationships between the users satisfaction of health screening and socio-demographic factors, 2) the relationships between the level of satisfaction of health screening and the types of programs or services of health screening; and 3) and main factors associated with the users satisfaction of health screening services. ¡¯Findings showed that 1) the high proportion of people received the health screening services and satisfied with health screening services; and 2) age, sex, education, the reasons receiving health screening services, distance and travel time to the climes or health centers proving health screening services and result of health screening were identified to predict the users satisfaction of health screening programs. People with short distance to health clinics and under the age of 40 we re more likely to be satisfied with the services. In addition people receiving enough information from doctors were more likely to be satisfied with the services. Information on the relationships between satisfaction and demographic variables, accessibility to clinics, and doctors advice or information may be used both to un derstand screening satisfaction and to develop targeted strategies to Improve services or programs of health screening.
